Horkay András és Romsics László kalauzolásával közelebbi ismeretséget köthetnek a Hungarian Wine Summit vendégei a kékfrankossal. A két szakértő bemutatja a fajta múltját, jövőjét és sokarcúságát a terroir és a borászati technológiák függvényében.

A mesterkurzus angol nyelven zajlik, tolmácsszolgáltatás a helyszínen nem lesz elérhető.

Horkay András a WSET borismereti képzésekkel foglalkozó iskola, a Central European Wine Institute (CEWI) alapítója és vezetője, WSET diplomás, WSET okleveles borismereti oktató. 2010 óta foglalkozik itthon és külföldön a magyar borok, borvidékek népszerűsítésével. 2013 és 2018 között az Országos Borszakértő Bizottság (OBB) elnöke, 2016 óta a Villányi borvidék, valamint 2021 óta a Mátrai borvidék tanácsadója, a Magyar Sommelier Szövetség Par Excellence Oktatói kategória díjazottja 2019-ben.

Romsics László több mint 30 éve dolgozik a borszakmában. Korábban 21 évig a Törley Pezsgőpincészet főborász pozícióját töltötte be. WSET diplomával rendelkezik, és az Institute of Master of Wine intézményében is mélyítette boros ismereteit. Tanulmányai során a világ szinte minden jelentős borvidékét bejárta. 2004 óta borszakíró, előadó és a Vince Magazin szakmai lektora. Az Országos Borszakértő Bizottság alelnöke. 2016 óta a Csányi Pincészet vezérigazgatója.

András Horkay and László Romsics are inviting participants of the Hungarian Wine Summit to take a closer look at Kékfrankos, its past, future, and its many faces: how different terroirs and winemaking techniques mould this variety.

András Horkay is the founder and director of the Central European Wine Institute (CEWI) which offers WSET wine education courses. He is a WSET graduate and a WSET certified wine lecturer. He’s been promoting Hungarian wines and wine regions both at home and abroad since 2010. He fulfilled the position of the Chairman of the National Wine Expert Comission between 2013-2018, starting from 2016 he acts as an advisor for the Villány wine region and since 2021 he is an advisor for the Mátra wine region as well. In 2019 he was awarded the Par Excellence Lecturer title by the Hungarian Sommelier Association.

László Romsics has been working in the wine business for over 30 years. He had worked for Törley Sparkling Wines Cellars for 21 years as a chief winemaker. He is a WSET diploma holder and also studied at the Institute of Masters of Wine. During his studies he visited almost all the main wine regions of the world. Mr. Romsics has been a wine writer, lecturer and professional proof reader of the VinCe Magazine since 2004. He is the vice chairman of the National Wine Expert Commission. His latest job is Chief Executive Officer at Csányi Winery, a position he has fulfilled since 2016.
