Mit jelent az olaszrizling Magyarországon és a régióban? Honnan érkezett, miért vált népszerűvé és hol tart most? Miért pont az olaszrizling terjedt el a leginkább a volt Monarchia szinte valamennyi bortermő területén? Magyarország szinte összes borvidékén megtalálható, ugyanakkor a különleges termőtájak egyedi stílusú és hangulatú borokat adnak. A kóstolóutazás során ezeket a stílusokat azonosítják be az előadók és helyezik el az olaszrizling nemzetközi bortérképén.

A mesterkurzus angol nyelven zajlik, tolmácsszolgáltatás a helyszínen nem lesz elérhető.

Saša Špiranec borszakíró, borbíráló és tanácsadó, számos borászati könyv és borkalauz szerzője, vezető horvát magazinok és újságok (Jutarnji list, Dobra hrana) munkatársa. Borkonferenciák, szakmai rendezvények, borfesztiválok alapítója és szervezője (pl. Vinart Grand Tasting, New Europe, Graševina, illetve Teran Konferencia). Továbbá nemzetközi borbíráló olyan rangos borversenyeken, mint az IWC, a DWWA és a CMB.

Győrffy Zoltán a Pécsi Egyetem Kapcsolati igazgatója és a Pécsi Borozó gasztronómiai és bormagazin főszerkesztője. Számos nemzetközi és regionális borverseny (pl. Portugieser du Monde, Pannon Borrégió Top25), illetve boros rendezvény (pl. Franc & Franc Villányban) szervezése fűződik a nevéhez. Borszakíróként is tevékenykedik. Rendszeresen bírál nemzetközi (World of Malvasia, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles stb.) és nemzeti borversenyeken Horvátországban, Szerbiában és Magyarországon.

What is the relevance of Olaszrizling to Hungary and the region? Where does it come from, what are the reasons behind its popularity and where is it heading to? Why has Olaszrizling become so widely planted in almost all regions of the former Monarchy? One can find it in practically all the wine regions of Hungary, however in those regions which have special terroirs it yields wines of great distinction and strong character. During the tasting tour, the presenters will identify these styles and place them on the international wine map of Olaszrizling.

Saša Špiranec is a wine writer, wine judge and consultant, the author of numerous wine books and guides and a contributor to leading Croatian magazines and newspapers (Jutarnji list, Dobra Hrana). Founder and organiser of wine conferences, professional events, wine festivals (like Vinart Grand Tasting, New Europe, grasevina or teran conference) and international wine judge at IWC, DWWA and CMB wine competitions.

Zoltán Győrffy is Head of Public Relations at the University of Pécs and editor-in-chief of Pécsi Borozó wine and food magazine. He has organised a number of international and regional wine competitions (e.g. Portugieser du Monde, Pannon Borrégió Top25) and wine events (e.g. Franc&Franc in Villány) and also works as a wine writer. He is regularly asked to judge at various international wine competitions (World of Malvasia, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles etc.), and national wine competitons in Croatia, Serbia and Hungary.
