Jásdi Vineyard

Since 1998 the Jásdi family has been managing the Csopak estate of János Ranolder, the former bishop of Veszprém, which is one of the last historic wineries in the Balaton Highlands still operating in its original form. They now cultivate 18 hectares of vineyards in this geologically diverse area, which enjoys the proximity of Lake Balaton. The wines produced here, with their unmistakable character, primarily reflect these terroir characteristics in a clean, elegant style. Their most important variety is Olaszrizling, which, as the ambassador of the terroir, embodies everything that Csopak wines are known and recognized for.
