In 2009, László Kovács made his family’s dream come true by establishing his winery, Vinatus, in Villány. Vinatus is the old Latin name of Villány, hence the choice of name for the winery. He has been involved in viticulture and winemaking since 2002. He purchased his first plot of land near Kisharsány in 2005. The next piece of land was purchased near Kistótfalu, bringing the total area of land owned by the family to 25 hectares. Thirteen years later, in 2022 they acquired a processing facility spanning 1,890 m². Full capacity: 1,100,000 bottles.
