For this wine, shrivelled, botrytised Furmint berries were hand-picked individually and macerated in Furmint base must undergoing fermentation for 18 hours, before being gently pressed and fermented in oak barrels. Once fully fermented, the wine was cooled and racked before being aged for 24 months in small Hungarian and French oak barrels.
