Bock BV Grand True, 2022

The name Grand True contains the term “Grand Cru,” which is a reference to great French wines. Valér Bock’s idea is to blend additional grape varieties not yet present in the Villány wine region. The first planting began with Petite Verdot and Malbec in the Göntér vineyard. Over time, the Ördögárok vineyard became home to Sangiovese, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, which ripens very late. The Kadarka, Kékfrankos, and Cabernet Franc harvested from Fekete Hill have already proven their worth in previous vintages, and the spicy Syrah from the Bocor vineyard is the best!
