Organically farmed Furmint grown in mica schist/slate soil. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and gently pressed. Fermentation then begins spontaneously in 500-litre Hungarian oak barrels. There was no battonage, just nine months of ageing on the lees. The result is a wine with a rich structure, ripe fruit flavours and plenty of minerality from our unique soil.
