Kerek is a single vineyard wine. Kerek hill is situated next to the Szeles-hát vineyard, but unlike the windy microclimate of Szeles-hát, Kerek hill is a particularly warm area, facing the south, surrounded and protected by forests. We planted Kékfrankos there because we hoped that this warm terroir will result in a round, full bodied, balanced Kékfrankos with great ageing potential.
