Csányi Winery

Csányi Winery is located on the outskirts of Villány, a town founded by Zsigmond Teleki in 1881. Teleki made history by discovering disease-resistant varieties during the phylloxera epidemic that devastated vineyards across Europe. Csányi Winery is one of Hungary’s largest and most prestigious wineries, blending over a century of winemaking heritage with a modern vision. It cultivates 400 hectares of vineyards and produces close to 2.5 million bottles of wine a year.
