This wine was first produced in 2024 using red Kékfrankos grapes, which are usually used to make the Heumann Winery’s top red wines. The idea arose from the fact that in the Italian part of Switzerland, where Heumanns are from, over 30% of the Merlot grapes are produced as white wine. This has been quite a success story there. In Hungary, they decided to replicate this by using the finest Hungarian indigenous red grape variety: Kékfrankos.
