This Furmint was planted in 2010 from cuttings selected from István Szepsy’s renowned Tokaj vineyards, with the aim of bringing the variety’s finest expression to the northern shore of Lake Balaton. Harvested on the Les Hill, one of the driest areas of the region and nicknamed the “Sahara of Balaton”, the 2022 vintage delivers ripe pear and quince notes with remarkable depth.
