This is the flagship white wine of the Tóth Ferenc Winery. Egri Csillag means ‘The Star of Eger’ and has a historical origin; it is the white counterpart of the Eger Bull’s Blood red blend. It is a white blend of four mostly Hungarian varieties, fermented and aged in oak barrels. Thanks to our cooler climate on the hillsides, it has a vibrant acidity. The Hárslevelű variety gives the wine its full body, aromatic character and long finish. The different wines were fermented and aged separately before being blended into a Superior wine.
