The Eger wine region is wonderful and diverse in terms of both its natural features and its grape varieties. We have been refining our wines with every vintage for four decades, but it is still challenging to produce wines that bring us and our consumers recognition and joy. Our task is to perfect the Egri Bikavér and Egri Csillag wines, and our personal goal is to introduce wine lovers to the Leányka, Kadarka and Kékfrankos grape varieties in an appropriate manner. Through our flagship wine, Várvédő, we can showcase the very best of our winery and vineyards. Our goal is to continually reinvent ourselves to keep up with the changing world, all the while preserving the traditions of our wine region. Despite our long history, we do not dwell on the past, but constantly renew ourselves so that visitors who taste Tóth Ferenc wines come to our winery and return home with reliable, quality wines, as well as a new taste experience.
