Siller is a Hungarian wine style that falls between red and rosé in both colour and character. It is made from red grapes, but the juice has limited skin contact, usually longer than rosé, but shorter than red wine fermentation. This gives it more colour, structure and tannin than rosé. This refreshing Siller blend combines the fruity elegance of Merlot with the lively character of Kékfrankos. It is fermented at controlled temperatures and aged in stainless steel tanks. Served slightly chilled, it makes a good alternative to rosé.
