Tüske Pince is a family-run, artisan winery located in the Szekszárd wine region. The name originates from the nickname of an ancestor (“Tüske” meaning “spike” or “thorn”). Since 1995, we have been making elegant, easy-to-drink wines from local and international grape varieties, combining our Swabian legacy with modern wine trends. Our vineyards, totalling 11 hectares, are located in various areas of Szekszárd, enabling us to utilise different terroirs and microclimates. Our annual production is around 27-30000 bottles.
We are proud of our local grape varieties: Kadarka and Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch), from which we produce both varietal wines and blends, such as Bikavér. We also produce rosé, and another regional specialty is Siller, a light red wine.
