Andrea Gere The Gere family have been making wine for seven generations. They have built a 75 ha estate with a hotel and restaurant. Representing the next generation, Andrea joined the winemaking team in 2003. Originally an economist, she swapped her financial career for the family winery. Although she never officially became a winemaker, she had attended a wine marketing programme at UC Davis in California and completed the WSET Diploma course in London. With her input, the Gere wines have undergone significant changes and the estate converted to organic farming in 2010. She has brought a feminine touch to the daily life of the winery, realizing that inner balance and outer appearance are equally important.

György Lőrincz JR After completing his studies in viticulture and oenology at Corvinus University in Budapest, he worked in Austria, Tokaj, and New Zealand. Since 2013, he has been working with his father to build one of the most important estates in the Eger wine region, St. Andrea Vineyards. On their 50-hectare estate, their goal is to produce original, timeless Eger wines that showcase the essence of the historic Eger wine region, which for them is clearly the Egri csillag and Egri bikavér blends. Their formula is simple: terroir + love = great wine.
