MARIASY is a boutique winery founded recently in Tokaj. It is the private project of one of the region’s most esteemed winemakers, who is known for his unwavering commitment to showcasing the unique characteristics of this exceptional region. The MARIASY vineyard is located in a closed valley basin and small amphitheatre on the northern slopes of volcanic Kopasz Hill, which is covered by a loess formation. The high banks surrounding the growing area provide significant protection and a favourable microclimate for this small plot. Here, MARIASY cultivates Furmint vines, magically rejuvenating the wonderful, long-forgotten vineyard parcels of Máriás-dűlő. MARIASY wines embody the essence of Tokaj: pure and expressive and undeniably captivating. With a focus on Furmint, they produce a distinctive dry Tokaj wine and a noble Aszú wine that showcase the richness of this terroir.
